This is the first of five songs off of the forthcoming Owl Eyes 7” entitled The Seventh Circle. There will be five varying covers based on each of the five tracks. Each cover is silk screened and hand numbered /54. We will release each song and its accompanying artwork periodically until the 7” release date on November 29th 2011. This cover is based on the opening track titled Devastation.
keep your small talk to yourself/ i could care less if you were breathing or burning in hell/ *i dont care* i dont care that we have the same friends/ stay away *stay away* i don't need you in any way/ you're just another name to add to this sea of faces/ the only thing that brings us together are these stupid places/ can't you see *can't you see* can't you see the irony?/ here today, gone tomorrow, a group of angst fuelled youth drinking away their sorrow/ and this circle of fucking that rotates over and over/ regretting it all as soon you're sober/ can't you see how fucked up this is? caught in a trap that you're enjoying to live in/ go away, stay away/ no one wants you here/ go away, stay away/ can you see it clearly now?
